Fund Request Management System

The Fund Request Management System is an enterprise financial application designed to fully digitalize the fund request and approval workflow within organizations. Built with Laravel and the Filament admin panel framework for a rich, interactive dashboard experience, MySQL for transactional data storage, containerized with Docker for portable deployment, and integrated with CI/CD automation for seamless updates.

The system replaces traditional paper-based fund request processes with a structured digital workflow. Employees submit fund requests by filling in standardized forms that capture the purpose, amount, budget category, supporting documents, and expected timeline. Each request is automatically routed through a configurable multi-level approval chain based on the amount and department, with notifications sent to approvers at each stage.

Budget tracking features provide real-time visibility into allocated versus spent funds across departments, projects, and fiscal periods. Managers can drill down into specific budget lines to see all associated requests, their approval status, and disbursement records. The system enforces budget limits by preventing requests that would exceed the remaining balance in a given category.

Digital signatures authenticate each approval action, creating a tamper-proof audit trail that satisfies internal compliance requirements and external audit standards. The Filament admin panel provides an intuitive interface for finance administrators to manage users, configure approval workflows, generate financial reports, and export data to spreadsheet formats.

Docker containerization ensures that the application runs identically across development, staging, and production environments, while the CI/CD pipeline automates testing and deployment whenever new code is pushed.
